yes yes, i am now back from Arizona!! and i lived!!! so i'm going to post about it (this is a first), starting with the daily stuff, then going into more detail. k?
SUNDAY
the night before i slept on a table in my church (it was actually quite comfortable), but me and lucy kept getting woken up by the demon coffee maker, so we ended up getting about 2 hours of sleep. and then these demon pigons tried to attack me, and it was very scary. so at about 7:30 (AM!!!) we left, and i ended up in a seat that had a broken seatbelt that almost strangled me. great way to start the day. so we drove. and drove and drove and drove. and then we stopped at a gas station somewheres in New Mexico and got candy and pringles and gum and those starbucks frappachino things you can get at safeway. it was yummy. and then a bunch of other crap happened, and then we stopped for lunch and me and abby got food from sonic and the boxes said `hot and delicious` lmao. and then we got to arizona on time, but spent about an hour being lost and eventually had to ask for directions at the emergancy room. lmao again.and then we got to the mission and the leaders there tried (unsuccesfully) to play those "get to know each other" games, one of which was a "friendship walk". gag me. but me and lucy met this guy named steven who shounded really really gay, and it was funny. then we had dinner and i didn't eat any of it because it looked disgusting. and then we did some other crap, and then we went to sleep.MONDAYwe woke up pretty early and had breakfast at 7:15 which consisted of a bowl of generic brand honey comb for me. and then i had the joy (ha) of watching ben (not ben reed, this ben goes to bell) eat. and let me tell you, it reminds me of laurel jones. only worse. *twitch* and then we got assigned our groups:CREW 1 - meTyler(my church)Ben(my church)Ira(my church)Lucy(my church)Abby(my church)Brittany(ft. collins)Hannah(ft. collins)Kylee(ft. collins)Joan(ft. collins leader)Ty(my church leader. yay!!)so for the first two day we got assigned to paint houses, and we got the house of this cute old lady (83 yrs old) named Elsie.and somehow, me and ben managed to get in a paint war, and i was covered, like i got paint all in my hair, and then the sun turned it into a plaster type thing. and both my arms were covered, but it was still pretty funny. poor ben tho, he still has pain in his hair, and its been, like, a week. thats pretty much all, cept i got sunburned. then that night these three navajo woman came and set up jewelry stand things at the mission, and i bought two bracelets, a necklace and a pair of earings. then the talked to us, and they were really sweet.TUESDAYok, well we got yelled at in the announcements because of the paint wars, and as it turns out, our youth group was in the annoucements every day, for the paint wars, and then because all the skaters in our group wear their pants really low, and because they were doing tricks on their skateboards, and XTREME (i'll explain later). and we painted again, and it really sucked. but to make it more fun, ty, i mean red fox, made us all have code names:tyler-big bearben-little birdira-little squirrelme-beige dolphin (given to me by ben, don't ask)ty-red foxkylee-fat fishhannah-QolaBrittany-number 1 (on mondaythe boys said "1 times anything is 1", and she wasn't thinking and said "no duh", and it was so hilarious to make fun of her)Lucy-squatting snakeAbby-sand kickerand we also got to see the other group's house, and gang members lived in it, so there were bullet holes in it and two dead sheep on a shack roof.and then we went to a powwow and ate fried bread (victor's mom makes the best fried bread...lmfao) and snowcones and i got another necklace.WEDNESDAYyay!! no more painting!!! we got to do kids club (VBS) today. and it was kinda hard because alot of the kids were really mean, but it still was better than painting. i got put in the songs group, which is the heardest one, but a few of the little kids (5-6) and this eight-year-old named Dominique made it a lot better. and then for the evening activity, we went on a hike to window rock, but you had the option of staying behind, and everyone in our youth group except 2 people stayed behind and then we were bored so we climbed up this big rockand then ben found these slide marks and a piece of wood and all the guys were sliding down and it was really funny. and XTREME!!!! but the boys were being stupid at first andwere sitting on the wood up and don, like verticle, and Tyler was going down, but he (unfortunatly) hit a bump and the wood slammed into his balls and it was extremely hillarious. and so, because the leader that did the announcements was the one that stayed behind with us, she put XTREME in the announcements.THURSDAYour last day :( i was a little scaired of kids club, but ty had decided to try some new things, and they helped alot (for the songs group at least). and then i also met dominique's little sister tanya. and we were having a BBQ that night and could invite kids from kids club and their families, so i invited tanya and dominique, and they came. yay! i played with tanya the whole time and gave her piggyback rides, and met their other sisters and their mom, and i got her address and i'm going to write her letters and send her stuff, and i'm really excited! then me and abby and lucy and aly had a weaving party with some girls form loveland (Shay, Sarah, Sarah, Sarah, Katie, Rachel, Shannnon, amd Joanna) and i learned how to make these really cool bracelets.ok, well, i have to go to bed now (my mommy is yelling at me), so i'll post the rest of thursday, friday, and saturday tomorrow luv ya!!!
